Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Introduction
Clinikly (“Clinikly”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a digital health platform that connects doctors, assistants, and patients for scheduling, telehealth consultations, prescriptions, and clinical record keeping. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, across our marketing site, web dashboards, and mobile application (together, the “Services”).
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, role (patient, doctor, assistant, or admin), and, for doctors, professional license details used for verification.
- Health information: vitals (such as weight, blood pressure, and eyesight), allergies, chronic conditions, prescriptions, consultation notes, and documents you upload to your medical records.
- Appointment & payment records: booking details, consultation fees, receipts, and subscription/billing status.
- Communications: messages exchanged through in-app chat and telehealth video sessions.
- Device & usage data: log data, device identifiers, app version, and general usage analytics used to keep the Services reliable and secure.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate core features — scheduling, telehealth, prescriptions, and records.
- Verify doctor credentials before they can accept patients on the platform.
- Enable role-based access so patients, doctors, assistants, and admins each see only what is relevant to their role.
- Send appointment reminders, connection requests, and chat notifications.
- Process payments, generate receipts, and manage platform subscriptions.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Services.
4. Role-Based Access to Health Information
Health information is only visible to a patient and the doctors they are actively connected to — either through a confirmed booking or a clinic QR connection. Assistants linked to a doctor can help manage scheduling, records, and prescriptions, but do not see financial or revenue information. Platform administrators can access account and operational data as needed to verify doctors, resolve support requests, and maintain the Services, but do not use clinical data for any other purpose.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal or health information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Within the platform: with the doctors, assistants, or patients you are connected to, as necessary to deliver care.
- Service providers: infrastructure providers that host our database, authentication, and file storage, and telehealth connectivity providers that power secure video consultations — each bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Legal requirements: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data storage and authenticated access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and health information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You can:
- Access and update your profile and health information directly within the app.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we delete your account and associated data, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
- Opt out of non-essential notifications from within your app settings.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@clinikly.co.
9. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our marketing site and web dashboards use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as light/dark theme. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for use by adults and, where applicable, minors under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or treating physician. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children without appropriate consent.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by other reasonable means. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
12. Contact Us
